Classroom Learning
In science, we have been starting to learn about electricity. Today, students were introduced to the concept of circuits. Using a 1.5 v light bulb, a D-cell battery and two pieces of copper wire, students experimented with creating a circuit which would light their light bulb. Once successful, they were given a socket for the light bulb and recreated their circuit. They then drew diagrams and labeled their diagrams. Over the next few weeks, students will receive more opportunities to experiment with circuits as we further explore electricity.
