Classroom Learning
Today students were introduced to Ancient Athens and Democracy. Students first filled out a KWL chart on what they knew about Ancient Athens, and what they wanted to know. While watching an introductory video on the topic, students wrote in their visual journals examples of justice, equity, freedoms, and representation. They then used this information to fill in a rating scale on each of those 4 topics. They will complete these rating scales again in the future and compare in order to see if their rating has changed as they have learned more information.
